ZSAR AND HURPPU HORIZON ENTER THE PARTNERSHIP IN DEVELOPING LUXURY TOURIST FACILITIES IN VIROLAHTI
Zsar Outlet Village, the first outlet in Finland, and Hurppu Horizon Centre, a luxury holiday resort project, today announced a partnership to develop exclusive tourist facilities and activities in Virolahti, South-Eastern Finland by the Baltic Sea. The target is to attract Finnish, Russian and Asian tourists to the area by offering exclusive shopping, accommodation and other tourist services.
Zsar will be the first premium outlet village in Finland, located just a couple of hundred meters from the biggest EU-Russian border control point. Hurppu Horizon, which is 15 minutes drive from Zsar, includes a luxury seaside hotel with 60 suites and six five star rental villas, spa, forest hotel, luxury glamping, gourmet restaurant, a unique event venue by the sea, and a residential area of 96 luxury homes. Zsar will be opened in 2018.
“We share the same affluent target customer groups from Finland, Russia and Asia, and we are a perfect match in completing each other’s offerings. We can provide compelling offers and packages for both shopping and recreation. We will organise bus charters from Helsinki, the airport, St. Petersburg and the nearest train station, and offer tourists luxury daytrips or weekend getaway packages”, says Sami Vainiomäki, CEO of Zsar.
”Together we can provide a unique combination of shopping of premium and luxury apparels and top notch tourist services in a historical nature environment by the Baltic Sea, where the Russian tsars used to spend their holidays. Zsar offers quality fashion brands with attractive pricing in a unique environment, while Hurppu Horizon will offer lodging and variety of recreational activities, including sea cruises, fishing, snow mobile riding, hiking, bird watching, and so on”, says Vadim Kasarnovski, CEO of Norados Oy, the developer of Hurppu Horizon.
